Overview

Appointment of a service provider to assist with the once-off space planning service at the Cape Town Weather Office, with a ceiling of up to R500 000. Bidders should have space-planning/office-fit-out capability (interior design, architectural/space-planning expertise) and be able to deliver space plans, drawings and related deliverables, plus support for implementation. Compliance with SAWS SCM requirements is required (tax, BBBEE, registrations) and readiness to enter a SLA with supplier-performance management.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in space planning for office environments with deliverables per the Terms of Reference.
• Operational premises with the necessary infrastructure; relevant accreditation; may undergo due-diligence/site visit.
• Tax/compliance: SARS PIN or Tax Clearance (TCS) status; CSD number if no TCS; foreign bidders to follow Annexure A requirements.
• BBBEE status (verification certificate or sworn affidavit) and disclosure as applicable.
• Ability to sign a contract including a SLA and provide supplier performance metrics; subcontracting arrangements must be documented; potential final presentation to shortlist.
