Overview

Procurement of a service provider to manage, dispense and distribute chronic medication to Compensation Fund’s COIDA patients for 36 months. Suitable bidders are experienced providers with licensed pharmacy premises, SAPC registration, a proven chronic-dispensing/courier capability, and ICT capacity to integrate with CF systems.

Requirements

• Proven track record dispensing/distributing chronic medication nationwide; licensed pharmacy premises.
• SAPC registration (pharmacist/pharmacy of record) and valid dispensing license.
• COIDA Letter of Good Standing; Tax Compliance Status (SARS PIN) or CSD registration as applicable.
• Ability to interface IT systems with the CF software; capable of electronic invoicing.
• Capacity to operate at least six days a week; cold-chain storage capability for thermo-liable items.
• Courier/distribution capability, packaging/labeling standards, and ability to provide parcel delivery lists.
• Evidence of project team qualifications and experience; ability to scale with demand.
