Overview

Polokwane Municipality seeks a service provider to supply, repair, install and maintain two-way radio communication system and equipment for Polokwane Municipal Emergency Services on an ad hoc basis for a three-year term. Bidders should have expertise in radio communications, systems integration/installation and maintenance, with relevant regulatory registrations and credentials to operate in SA public procurement.

Requirements

• Valid Central Supplier Database (CSD) number or Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN and compliance with SARS and SCM regulations; separate TCS/CSD for joint ventures.
• Compliance with South African tax rules and procurement regulations; no bids from persons in the service of the state.
• Completion and submission of official bid documents (MBDs/SBDs, Schedule of Prices) with all pages initialed and required annexures; pricing in accordance with instructions; evidence of municipal rates/payments where applicable.
• Demonstrated experience with similar work; solid financial ability to execute the contract; adherence to the 80/20 evaluation (price vs specific goals) and 90-day bid validity.

How to Apply

• Submission deadline: 2026-11-22 22:00. A mandatory briefing session is indicated (02 November 2026) per the tender, details in the attached documents (PM04-25/26 Re-Advert).
• Submission method: bids deposited in the Polokwane bid box (Civic Centre, corner Bodenstein and Landdros Mare) and/or via the online etenders portal as indicated in the documents.
• Documents to complete: official forms including Form A (Bid Form), MBD 1–9, SBD 3.1 (price), and other annexures; ensure all pages are initialed and the bid is fully priced and signed.
