Overview

The Msunduzi Municipality invites tenders for the supply, delivery and off-loading of fiberglass ladders as and when required. Suitable bidders are those with proven experience in supplying and delivering fiberglass ladders, capable of servicing Pietermaritzburg and the Midlands region, and able to off-load at customer sites, under a two-stage evaluation with B-BBEE preferences.

Requirements

• Two-stage evaluation: Stage One: Functionality (max 40; minimum 20). Verification includes Letter of Award, Purchase Order and Delivery Note. Stage Two: 80/20 scoring per SCM policy with Preferential Procurement Regulations (2022/2024).
• Functionality criterion: combined projects in rand value for supply and delivery of fiberglass ladders (max 40; min 20).
• Preference points (total 20) for: Black Owned Enterprise (≥51%), Woman Owned/controlled (≥51%), Disabled Persons ownership/control (≥51%), and Locality in Msunduzi Municipality.
• Tender validity: 120 days.
• The Municipality reserves the right to not bind itself to the lowest bid or to accept part of a quotation; aims to support local BEE/SMME initiatives.
