Overview

Cape Agulhas Municipality invites quotes to appoint service providers for four accredited trainings: Basic Emergency First Aid Responder, Basic Firefighting, Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) representative, and Hazard Identification Risk Assessment (HIRA). Relevant bidders are training providers with QCTO/SAQA accreditation, capable of delivering at Anene Booysen Skills Development Centre, Bredasdorp, providing pre-assessments, facilitator expertise, monthly learner reports, POEs, and NLRD registrations. Bidders must meet tax compliance, CSD or TCS requirements, B-BBEE status, and CIDB is not applicable.

Requirements

• Accreditation: QCTO and SAQA approval; facilitator CVs; provider must submit POE and be able to issue certificates and register learners on NLRD.
• Delivery: outcome-based programmes, pre-assessments, monthly/exit reports, and customisation to learner levels.
• Resources: trained facilitators, course materials, equipment, PPE, venue (Anene Booysen Centre), and insurance (professional indemnity).
• Compliance: Tax Compliance PIN/CSD; B-BBEE status; CIDB not required; 90-day bid validity; insurance proof.
• Documentation: CAMBD 1, CAMBD 4, CAMBD 6.1, CAMBD 8, CAMBD 9, Form of Offer, and other schedules (1A–1F) must be completed.

How to Apply

• Deadline and questions: Closing 14 October 2026 at 12:00; site briefing not compulsory. (see attached docs CAMBD sections)
• Submission: sealed envelope or post to Municipal Manager, or hand-deliver to 1 Dirkie Uys Street, Bredasdorp; clearly endorsed with tender number and description. (Tender Box)
• Documents to submit: all CAMBD forms (1, 4, 6.1, 8, 9) plus 1A–1F schedules, Tax PIN/CSD, B-BBEE certificate, proof of municipal accounts, and Form of Offer/Acceptance. (see Q22/2026/27 tender documents)
• How to obtain docs: from Ms. G. Koopman or download free from the municipal site. Non-refundable fee is zero.
• Evaluation: 80/20: Price 80; B-BBEE and Locality 20 (10 each). CIDB not applicable. More than one supplier may be appointed per training. (Pricing per learner; four training items)
