Overview

APPOINTMENT OF SERVICE PROVIDERS TO RENDER SECURITY SERVICES FOR NINE AREAS OF LEDA FOR A PERIOD OF THIRTY-SIX (36) MONTHS. LEDA invites security service providers with valid PSIRA registration and requisite qualifications to bid to cover LEDA offices/premises across nine areas, including armed security where specified, for 36 months.

Requirements

• Valid PSIRA certificate in the bidder’s name; PSIRA good standing (recent, within 3 months); PSIRA certificates for all owners/directors (where applicable).
• Tax/compliance: tax compliant with SARS PIN; TCS where applicable; CSD registration; VAT registration if applicable; UIF/COIDA as required.
• NBCPSS compliance; bidders not listed on defaulter/restricted lists; no “in the service of the state” conflicts.
• Areas with armed security (Area 2 and Area 5): valid firearm licenses, PSIRA registration for armed personnel, and SAPS firearm list.
• Central data/registration: CSD full registration report; proof of tax/policy compliance; separate JV/consortium Party documentation if applicable.
• Operational readiness: 24-hour security control room; quadbike access where required; PSIRA registrations for all security personnel; minimum wage compliance.
• Documentation: complete SBD forms (see How to Apply) and the official pricing schedule; annexures and references as specified.

• Submission deadline: 19 August 2026 at 11:00. Questions cut-off: 11 August 2026 at 16:00. No briefing session scheduled.
