Appointment of the service provider for 1st year student uniforms for undergraduate courses (STH)

Overview

Procurement of a service provider to manufacture, brand, and supply 1st-year student uniforms for undergraduate courses (STH) for the University of Johannesburg, including fittings, packaging, delivery and exchanges, for a three-year term. Bidders should be Gauteng-based uniform manufacturers/suppliers with garment manufacturing, branding, fittings and distribution capability, with Oracle Cloud tender submission access and compliance to mandatory requirements (COIDA/FEM/RMA, SARS PIN, B-BBEE or sworn affidavit, CSD) and supplier registration.

Requirements

• Based in Gauteng
• Mandatory compliance: COIDA/FEM/RMA; SARS Pin; B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; CSD; supplier registration; access to Oracle Cloud tender submission
• Submit one full male and one full female sample uniform prior to closing (Samples must be provided as per RFP)
• Complete and submit Tender Documents (Tender Document, Form of Tender) and accept UJ Supplier Agreement; required confirmations and licences as per Schedule 1–6 of the UJ_Supply Agreement
• Tender evaluated on functionality; minimum 70 points to qualify; related work experience with reference letters; samples; layout of premises and Gauteng location; price and B-BBEE contribute to final score
