Overview

Appointment of a service provider for the verification of flow meters in the Caledon River, Modder River and Orange River regions. This RFQ (VCW26/0441C) targets bidders with flow-meter verification/calibration experience and related metering technology, including brands listed in the scope (Endress & Hauser, Fuji, ISOIL, Royce, Siemens) and associated reporting.

Requirements

• Fully completed Standard Bidding Documents: SBD 1, 3.1, 4, 6.1 (pre-qualifier).
• Tax compliance: SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN (or TCS) and 5-day response to clarifications.
• CIDB status: active (where applicable).
• CSD registration or proof if no TCS PIN; ID copy; BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit.
• Medical certificate or Department of Labour disability letter (where applicable).
• Pricing schedule on SBD 3.1; firm prices inclusive of taxes; delivery period specified.
• Compliance with GCC and, if applicable, other contract conditions.
• Bidders may be evaluated on 80/20 (price vs. specific goals) with required documentation for specific goals.

• Pre-qualifications: ensure Tax PIN, CIDB status, and other pre-qualifier criteria are satisfied; on-site briefing is “if applicable.”
• Briefing session details: listed as applicable in the RFQ; confirm whether mandatory.
