Overview

APPOINTMENT OF TWENTY (20) CONTRACTORS FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF WATER AND SANITATION INFRASTRUCTURE IN POLOKWANE MUNICIPALITY FOR THREE YEARS. This open tender targets contractors with CIDB grading 3CE or higher, tax compliance, CIDB registration (F006) as applicable, and SCM compliance. The 90/10 preference system applies (price 90, specific goals 10). Bids cover ongoing maintenance of water and wastewater infrastructure as needed over three years (as-and-when required) in Polokwane. A site clarification meeting is not required.

Requirements

• CIDB contractor grading designation of 3CE or higher; CIDB registration (F006) as applicable.
• Tax Compliance Status (PIN/CSD as required) and SARS e-filing readiness; CSD number if no TCS.
• Not in the service of the state; comply with SCM policies; no disqualifications listed in the bid rules.
• Copies of company registration, municipal rates/taxes proof, and any joint venture documents as applicable.
• Demonstrated experience with similar water/wastewater maintenance projects; financial ability to execute.
• Returnable documents completed and submitted (T2 schedules, C1/C2 data, MBD forms, etc.).
• Per the Very Important Notice, no pencil entries, no pages removed, no bid defaulters, and no conflicts of interest.
• Bids are valid for 90 days after closing.

How to Apply

• Obtain bid documents from the e-tender portal (etenders.gov.za) for PM23-26/27 (PM23-26/27 Tender Document Final.pdf).
• Ensure eligibility: CIDB 3CE+, Tax/ CIDB/ TCS/CSD compliance, and register as required.
• Prepare and submit: MBD1 (Invitation to Bid), MBD7 contract form, C1/C2 data, pricing data and the BOQ, returnable schedules, and any joint venture agreements.
