Overview

Appointment of two service providers for the supply, delivery and off-loading of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and specialised PPE clothing for Polokwane Municipality’s Energy Services for a period of three years. Open tender targeting PPE suppliers with capability to supply and off-load PPE in energy services. Bidders must be compliant with SARS Tax Compliance requirements and be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) where applicable; bids from parties in the service of the state are not eligible. The contract runs for three years with 90-day bid validity; closing date 11 September 2026 (see document PM02-26/27.pdf).

Requirements

• Tax compliance: SARS Tax Compliance status (PIN) and/or a TCS certificate; if applicable, CSD number.
• CSD registration and/or proof of tax compliance; no bids from persons in the service of the state.
• Completion and submission of official bid forms and pricing schedules (e.g., MBD forms, Form A–F, MBD 3.1) and annexures; adherence to GCC and PPPFA 80/20 rules.
• Evidence of ability to supply and deliver PPE and PPE clothing for energy services; compliance with technical specifications and pricing instructions.
• JV/consortium rules: if applicable, each party must provide required documentation (TCS/PIN/CSD).
• Bid validity period: 90 days; no late submissions accepted (closing/collection as per PM02-26/27).

• Deadline: 11 September 2026 at 10:00 (closing); bids deposited in Polokwane Municipality bid box; public opening (PM02-26/27.pdf).
• Submission method: sealed bid in envelope or online as indicated; bid box at Civic Centre, corner Bodenstein and Landdros Mare Street.

• Pre-qualifications: SARS TCS PIN or printed TCS certificate; CSD number; proof that bidder is not in service of the state.
