Overview

Supply and delivery of beekeeping materials to Salima District Council (Malawi). The Procuring and Disposing Entity invites quotations for the supply and delivery of beekeeping goods listed in Section C (19 items, e.g., bee suits, top-bar beehives, honey pressing machines, bee groves, brushes, tools, jars, etc.). Partial quotations may be rejected; awards may cover selected items only. Delivery terms: EXW insured within Malawi, or CIP/DDP to Salima if sourced from outside Malawi. Delivery period: 7 days from order. Quotation validity: 30 days from the submission deadline. Warranty: 12 months. Payment: within 30 days of invoice. Submissions close 30/09/2026 at 14:00 and may be sent in sealed envelopes to the Chairperson of IPDC, Salima District Council, or via email to ekanjadza@gmail.com (cc: lilongwe@utn.is); a soft copy should also be sent to lilongwe@utn.is. The RFQ references Schedule of Requirements (Section C) and requires priced Sections C and D, plus supporting documents (see attached RFQ file: BEEKEEPING TOOLS).

Requirements

• Quotation currency: Malawi Kwacha.
• Delivery: 7 days from order; quotations valid for 30 days; 1-year warranty.
• Documentation to attach: completed Section C and D, Business Registration Certificate, Trading Licence, Annual Tax Clearance Certificate, MSME Certificate, PPDA Certificate 200 Million Category, and a list of recent contracts (LPOs).
• Pricing: fixed for the validity period; delivered prices in Section C.
• Compliance: supplier must comply with GCC for Local Purchase Orders, and taxes/duties are the supplier’s responsibility.
• Other: ensure terms in Schedule of Requirements are met; provide any additional documentation as required.

• Required documents: (i) Section C and D completed; (ii) Business Registration Certificate and Trading Licence; (iii) Annual Tax Clearance; (iv) MSME Certificate; (v) PPDA Certificate 200 Million Category; (vi) List of recent contracts (LPOs).
• Pre-qualification/registrations: comply with listed attachments; sections in the RFQ indicate the required registrations and disclosures.
