Overview

BEY-SCM-629: Supply and delivery of Read AI Software Enterprise Version 5 seats for 24 months. Bidders should be software/IT providers with licensing, deployment and support capabilities for enterprise AI software, and must meet statutory vendor requirements (CSD registration, SARS tax clearance, municipal rates clearance, BBBEE certificate) plus the declarations specified in the tender documents.

Requirements

• CSD registration
• SARS tax clearance certificate
• Municipal rates and services clearance certificate
• BBBEE certificate to claim preference points
• Complete and submit required declarations: MBD4 (Declaration of Interest), MBD6.1 (Preference Points), MBD8 (Declaration of SCM Practices), MBD9 (Certificate of Independent Bid Determination), and pricing schedule (MBD3.1) including VAT where applicable.
• Open tender; evaluation on 80/20 (or 90/10 per system) with price and specific goals; pricing must include VAT and all disbursements; acceptance of lowest or any tender at Council’s discretion.
• Tender documents and pricing to be completed as per attached BEY-SCM-629-AI-Software-Enterprise.pdf.

• Submission deadline: 20 August 2026 at 12:00 (sealed envelopes) per attached document (Robert Sobukwe Building tender box).
• Submission method: in the municipal tender box, sealed envelopes clearly marked "BEY SCM 629"; no fax, email, or late submissions.
• Documents to submit: MBD3.1 Pricing Schedule, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9 (as applicable) and pricing (VAT where applicable).
• Required registrations/pre-qualifications: CSD, SARS Tax Clearance, municipal rates clearance, BBBEE certificate, and related declarations.
