Overview

Provision of Power Factor Correction at Crown Substation on a turnkey basis, including design, supply, erection, testing and commissioning, and SCADA integration. City Power Johannesburg invites bids for the Crown Substation PFC project. Bidders should have turnkey electrical capability with HV substations, CIDB 7EP or higher, and a valid COIDA certificate. Requirements

• CIDB contractor grading of 7EP or higher
• Valid COIDA certificate from Department of Labour or equivalent
• Tax compliance: SARS PIN/TCS and/or Tax Clearance; CSD registration
• Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration
• Returnable documents including MBD forms, B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, and Pricing Schedule
• Tender validity of 120 days
