Overview

The supply, delivery and construction of a 25.68 km Bonnox fence at Dohne ADI in the Amathole District. Eligible bidders must have CIDB registration in the 4SQ class or higher; a compulsory briefing will be held on 23 July 2026; and the work site is Dohne ADI, Stutterheim.

Requirements

• CIDB: minimum 4SQ contractor grading; proof of CIDB registration and active status; avoid exceeding the threshold by more than 15% with simultaneous contracts; Joint Ventures must meet lead partner and combined grading requirements.
• Registrations and compliance: register on CIDB and the Central Supplier Database (CSD) before closing; verify tax status via SARS (TCS PIN or CSD number); provide required certificates (e.g., CIDB, CSD, JV docs if applicable).
• Preferential procurement: 80/20 PPPFA; submit documentation to validate specific goals (e.g., 51% black-owned EMEs/QSEs, EC-based location, women/youth/disabled ownership) via SBD 6.1 documentation.
• Subcontracting: for projects ≥ R3m, non-Eastern Cape bidders must subcontract 25% to EC-based bidders.
• Documentation and contract: bid on official forms; include SBDs, Bill of Quantities, work program, JV agreements (if any), proof of CIDB/CSD, and other returnable documents; comply with GCC 2015 and any SCCs.
• Site and safety: obtain necessary standards and regulations (OH&S, CIDB/SA standards); site inspection and clarifications as stipulated.
