Overview

Procurement of three identical fume cupboards to be supplied, installed, commissioned and validated, with FAT/SAT, for Necsa’s UCHEM Crystal Waste Project. Bidders must be OEMs or authorised representatives, with ISO 9001, at least 5 years’ fume cupboard design/manufacture experience, and proven reference installations. Technical compliance includes EN 14175, ASHRAE 110, and CE (or equivalent); materials such as polypropylene shells and polycarbonate sash; and provision of FAT/SAT documentation and training.

Requirements

• OEM or authorised representative with OEM authorization; include valid authorization if using a dealer.
• ISO 9001 certification; minimum 5 years’ relevant experience; proven reference installations.
• Complete documentation: IQ/OQ, operating and maintenance manuals (soft and hard copies), design/fabrication/assembly data-pack with GA drawings, FDS, P&IDs, PFDs, isometrics; calibration certificates; material certificates; critical spares list.
• Compliance with design/spec standards: EN 14175, ASHRAE 110, CE marking.
• Technical design and materials: polypropylene shells, seamless gaskets, polycarbonate sash, airflow/filtration/exhaust to match project needs; SANS 10142-1 electrical compliance; noise ≤60 dB(A).
• FAT at vendor site and SAT on site; operator training (min 2 operators); spare parts provisioning.
• Radiation/site safety: access to radiological areas, radiation worker training, PPE provision, site induction and security screening as applicable.
• Project governance: adherence to Necsa SHEQ/quality policies and procurement procedures; provision of all required project documentation and handover deliverables.
