CAMPING ELECTRONIC COOLER BOXES

Overview

Procurement of camping electronic cooler boxes (portable fridge/freezers) for the Department of Water and Sanitation. Open to all bidders meeting the department’s requirements; bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) or hold a valid tax clearance; the process is conducted under PFMA, GCC and applicable SCC (RFQ WQ 2762/NC).

Requirements

• CSD registration or valid SARS Tax Clearance (PIN/TCS) and, if applicable, separate TCS for consortium/partners.
• Compliance with PFMA, GCC and any SCC; contract to be signed on SBD7.
• Submission on official bid forms (e.g., SBD 6.1 for preference points, SBD 4 pricing schedule, SBD 7 contract form).
• Tax compliance: provide SARS PIN, or TCS certificate; if no TCS, provide CSD number; no bids from state employees or closely related entities.
• BBBEE considerations: 80/20 price-preference with specific goals (Women, Disability, Youth, Location, BBBEE level), with proof documents (Full CSD Report, BBBEE certificate/sworn affidavit).
• Proof of authority to sign (e.g., company resolution).
• The bid invitation requires signing and completing all relevant sections; failure to comply may render bid invalid.

How to Apply

• Submission deadline: 17 December 2025 at 11:00, deposited in the Bid Box at the stated address (late bids not accepted). (Bid documents: Bid RFQ WQ 2762/NC; see Bid document.)
• Submission method: hand delivery to the Bid Box (not by post); ensure correct envelope markings.
• Documents to submit: official forms (SBD 4, SBD 6.1, SBD 7) and any pricing schedules; provide pricing that includes all delivery costs; quote in Rand; include value-added tax where applicable.
• Required registrations/pre-qualifications: CSD registration or SARS Tax Clearance with PIN/TCS; if no TCS, provide CSD number; all parties in joint ventures must provide separate TCS/CSD details.
