Overview

This RFQ seeks the provision of a 100Mbps dedicated microwave link with a 1:1 contention ratio for uShaka Marine World, under a 12-month contract. Eligible bidders are service providers registered on the Central Supplier Database and eThekwini Supplier Portal, accredited microwave-link providers, and those with valid tax clearance status and related pre-qualifications.

Requirements

• Latest Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration in good standing
• Fully completed and signed MBD forms (MBD1, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9) and bid on official letterhead
• Valid accreditation letter as an accredited microwave-link service provider (not older than 12 months)
• At least three signed customer reference letters for microwave-link services in the last 3 years
• Valid Letter of Good Standing (Coida)
• Tax compliance: tax clearance or PIN; SARS TCS PIN; if foreign, Part B:3 and separate TCS for consortia/joint ventures
• If no TCS but CSD is held, provide CSD number
• Stage One focuses on administrative compliance including the above; non-compliance renders bid null

Optional (non-mandatory) items include Consolidated BBBEE certificate (for consortiums), MBD7.2, proof of Public Liability Insurance, and consortium/joint-venture agreements (where applicable)

• Submission: sealed bids in the RFQ BS 802 envelope, deposited in the Guest Information Centre tender box (1 King Shaka Avenue, Durban 4000); late or unsealed envelopes are disqualified
