Overview

Request for quotations for the refurbishment and replacement of building external finishes at King Phalo Airport, a 24-month NEC3 ECC project. Bidders should be CIDB 4CE+ with relevant civil/finishing works experience, able to operate under airport site conditions and abide by PPPFA/B-BBEE requirements. A compulsory site briefing is required.

Requirements

• CIDB contractor grading 4CE or higher.
• Compulsory Site Briefing: 20 August 2026 at King Phalo Airport (see RFQ RFQ 12077.pdf).
• Closing: 01 September 2026 at 12:00 (subject to updates in the tender data; verify latest timing).
• Submission: Electronic submission to acsarfq@airports.co.za (see T1/T2 documents).
• Documentation: Complete Form of Offer and Acceptance (C1.1), Pricing Data (C2), Schedules, and returnable documents; include tax compliance (SARS PIN or CSD), B-BBEE proof, and signatories.
• Pricing: Fixed rates for the full contract duration; no price adjustments.
• Evaluation: Functionality (minimum threshold) plus PPPFA 80/20 with preferred B-BBEE goals; references required (see Annex around 2–5 letters for target scoring).

How to Apply

• Attend compulsory briefing on 20 August 2026 at King Phalo Airport (see RFQ RFQ 12077.pdf).
• Prepare tender on official forms; submit one bid package including C1.1, C2, C3/C4 scope, Site info, pricing, and returnable documents.
• Ensure Tax Compliance: provide SARS PIN or CSD number; for consortia, each party must provide their TCS/CSD.
• Provide B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; JV requires consolidated B-BBEE proof.
• Submit by the closing time via email to acsarfq@airports.co.za (refer to T1/T2 for format and requirements; include Attendance at briefing).
• Obtain and review addenda (issued up to 10 working days before closing) and adjust accordingly (see C.3.3–C.3.4).
