Overview

CENTLEC (SOC) Ltd seeks a service provider to print, envelop, sort, post and email monthly electricity bills and associated notices for six months. The contract covers ~2,920 statements emailed and ~1,530 posted monthly, with billing data converted to PDF, online viewing, and provision of stationery and related consumables.

Requirements

• Two reference letters for similar services, signed by authorised representatives
• Quotation on business letterhead; neatly bound (ring-bound), indexed, and page numbered
• Copy of CK company registration documents
• Valid original Tax Clearance Certificate or SARS PIN
• CSD registration with CSD report and certified ID copies of owners
• Municipal services clearance or lease with current bill and rates clearance, or current bill not over 90 days old (official council letter acceptable for non-billed areas)
• Complete all MBD forms (notably MBD 4 and MBD 9)
• SANAS-approved B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit (submission required; points awarded if present)
• Service delivery within 30 days of order; prices exclude VAT but include delivery
• Quotation valid for 30 days; lowest bid not guaranteed
• No quotations from Service of the State; payments to the entity named on the order; no third parties
• CENTLEC may request samples
• Must be registered on CSD with a CSD number
• Preference points distributed under specified goals (80/20 system)
