Overview

CENTLEC invites quotations for the supply, delivery and installation of 6 Rifle Safe and Top Safe and a Steel Bullet Trap. The two items must be supplied and installed per CENTLEC specifications (delivery within 30 days; RFQ process with 80/20 preference; sealed envelope submissions) as detailed in the attached advert (Advert C10/2026.pdf). Eligible bidders should be registered suppliers with CK company documents, CSD registration, tax clearance, and BBB-EE documentation, and able to fulfill heavy-installation requirements.

Requirements

• Valid CK company registration and CSD registration with proof
• Tax clearance or SARS PIN
• Lease or current utility bill where applicable; supplier must prove local service eligibility
• Completion and signing of all MBD forms (MBD 4 and MBD 9)
• SANAS-approved BBB-EE certificate or sworn affidavit (with quotation; points awarded but not required to bid)
• Capacity to deliver within 30 days of official order; delivery included in quoted price (VAT excluded)
• Sealed, bound bid documents on business letterhead; no loose submissions; hand-delivered
• Bid must be valid for at least 30 days; no bids from State Service personnel; CSD number required
• Preference points: 50% Black-owned, 50% Women-owned, 50% Youth-owned, Locality points; total 20
• Centlec reserves right to request samples and to appoint the second-lowest bidder if needed

• Submission deadline: 26 October 2026 at 11:00; late bids will not be considered
• Submission method: hand-delivered in a SEALED ENVELOPE to CENTLEC (SOC) Ltd, Supply Chain Management Offices, 30 Rhodes Avenue, Oranjesig, Bloemfontein 9301; quotations emailed will not be accepted
• Documents to submit (from advert): CK; CSD report; certified IDs; tax clearance; lease/bill evidence; MBD forms 4 and 9; BBB-EE or sworn affidavit; official council letters for non-billed areas if applicable; ensure binding, page-numbered, indexed documents
