CARGO WAREHOUSE LIGHTING REFURBISHMENT AT OR TAMBO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT.

Overview

Procurement of Cargo Warehouse Lighting Refurbishment (LED) at OR Tambo International Airport, to upgrade and refurbish warehouse lighting under an NEC3 ECC contract for 12 months. Bidders should have CIDB contractor grading of 4EB or higher and relevant electrical/lighting refurbishment experience, with ability to operate in restricted airport environments.

Requirements

• CIDB contractor grading of 4EB or higher.
• Tax compliance: SARS PIN or full Tax Compliance Status (TCS) certificate; if not available, provide CSD number; separate TCS for consortia/sub-contractors.
• Submit on official forms (signed Form of Offer and Acceptance), returnable documents, pricing schedules, and other required schedules (as per CIDB bid data).
• Fixed prices: contract prices remain fixed; no contract price adjustments for inflation or currency movements.
• Insurance: comply with employer’s insurance requirements; provide required insurances or adhere to the Insurance Schedule.
• Clarification queries must be raised by 16 October 2026; mandatory briefing/briefing sign-in; site access and restricted-area considerations noted in contract data.
• Functionality threshold: minimum 75/100 to progress to price/preference evaluation; must demonstrate Programme of Work, resources, and experience with three references.

• Briefing/Site Inspection: 07 October 2026 at 11:00 via Microsoft Teams (details in tender data).
