Overview

PetroSA seeks a contractor to provide canteen and catering services at Mossel Bay (GTLR) for PetroSA personnel, tenants and visitors. The contract covers meal and takeaway services, beverages, and event catering on a rental basis, with Halaal options on request and strict hygiene/health compliance.

• Target bidders: catering/canteen operators with corporate dining experience, capable of operating on PetroSA premises in Mossel Bay and meeting health, safety and B-BBEE requirements. (Scope and requirements details in Scope of Work, RFQ documents)

Requirements

• B-BBEE pre-qualification: at least 51% black-owned or 30% black women-owned, or EME/QSE; valid BBBEE certificate; subcontract at least 30% to qualifying designated groups. (RFQ)
• Experience: minimum 5 years in the food/catering industry; provide at least 3 references; demonstrated RSA presence, preferably Eden District/Western Cape. (RFQ)
• Compliance: COID certificate; adequate public liability and all risks insurance; adherence to Health, Safety and local authority regulations; ability to mobilize within 24 hours of request. (RFQ)
• Financial: proof of financial standing; bank letter; comprehensive proposal with menu, rental offer, and staffing plan. (RFQ)
• Subcontracting/joint ventures: if subcontracting, provide subcontracting agreement; disclose distribution of services. (RFQ)
