Overview

Catering and décor services for the Cape Winelands District Municipality's Grade 12 Top Achievers Awards event. Bidders with experience in event catering, décor and hospitality on-site service should consider bidding. Applicants must be registered on CWDM’s Supplier Database and the Central Supplier Database, provide a SARS Tax Clearance PIN, and supply B-BBEE verification (or a sworn affidavit if an EME/QSE), with CIDB registration included if applicable. The contract covers comprehensive catering and décor delivery for a one-off event, with bid validity of 180 days.

Requirements

• Registration on CWDM Supplier Database and Central Supplier Database
• Tax clearance status (SARS) and VAT compliance where applicable
• CIDB registration number (where applicable)
• B-BBEE Status Level Verification Certificate or sworn affidavit (EME/QSE rules apply)
• Locality evidence for preference points: municipal account not older than 90 days, lease/bank letter confirming business address
• Complete bid documents in BLACK ink; original documents; authorised signatory resolution
• Attendance at site/information meetings if compulsory
• Additional prerequisites such as Letter of Good Standing (Compensation Fund) and POPI compliance as indicated in the bid docs

• Submission method: sealed envelope placed in the CWDM tender box at 29 Du Toit Street, Stellenbosch; documents may also be accessed via www.capewinelands.gov.za or etenders.treasury.gov.za
• Documents to submit: formal quotation documents and relevant MBD forms (e.g., MBD 1, MBD 4B, MBD 6.1, MBD 7.1/7.2, MBD 8, MBD 9) and any CIDB/B-BBEE evidence
• Registrations: CWDM Supplier Database and CSD
• Briefing/site meetings: may be compulsory; attend as indicated in the bid
