CATERING AND DÉCOR FOR CAPE WINELANDS SPORT AWARDS

Overview

Catering and décor services for the Cape Winelands Sport Awards are being sought by the Cape Winelands District Municipality. The RFQ invites service providers with catering, décor and event-management capabilities to submit quotes for a Cape Winelands sport awards event.

Requirements

• Register on CWDM Supplier Database and Central Supplier Database (CSD).
• Complete and submit compulsory bid documents (MBD forms and related schedules) as specified in the tender documents (see Q 2026/010 DOC.pdf).
• Provide a valid B-BBEE Status Level Verification Certificate or a sworn affidavit if applicable (consolidated for JV; allow for different treatments for EMEs/QSEs).
• Tax compliance: Tax Compliance Status PIN (SARS), and ensure tax matters are in order; VAT considerations if contract value requires VAT invoicing.
• CIDB registration number if applicable; verification during evaluation.
• Locality preference evidence: municipal rates account not older than 90 days, lease/bank address confirmation to claim locality points.
• Attendance at compulsory site/information meetings if specified; all JV partners must attend.
• Ensure documentation includes a signed authorization to bid (board resolution) and other standard GCC/SCC documents as per the contract (see attached docs).

• Closing date and time: 11 November 2026 at 11:00 (submission deadline).
• Submission method: sealed envelope placed in the official tender box at 29 Du Toit Street, Stellenbosch; no email/fax/telex submissions accepted.
• Documents to submit: completed quotation documents and the required MBD forms (MBD1, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD9, etc.); B-BBEE verification; Tax Compliance Pin; CIDB if applicable; municipal/ local requirement docs; site attendance records (if applicable). See Q 2026/010 DOC.pdf for details.
• Pre-qualifications/registrations: CWDM Supplier Database and CSD; CIDB (where applicable); SARS VAT registration if required by contract value.
