Overview

Catering services for a visit by the Deputy Minister of Higher Education for the University of Fort Hare. VIP catering for 50 delegates (10 Halal, 40 Non-Halaal; includes vegetarian and vegan) at Miriam Makeba Hall, East London Campus, with a Halal section. Bidders must have VIP/event catering experience, be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD), hold a valid Tax Clearance, and provide a Municipal Health Certificate; plus a mandatory service-provider profile including chef qualifications, CVs, three references, social media/website evidence, and BBBEE credentials.

Requirements

• Adhere to UFH SCM policy; quotes may be disqualified; award via official UFH order; cheapest quote not guaranteed.
• Submit Original Tax Clearance Certificate.
• Registration on Central Supplier Database (CSD) is compulsory.
• Valid Municipal Health Certificate (Certificate of Acceptability for food premises).
• Mandatory SERVICE PROVIDER PROFILE: company VIP catering track record; qualified Chef with CVs; at least 3 references; social media/website evidence; BBBEE credentials; company registration documents; description of services and cost methodology.
• Complete pricing documentation: pricing schedule (including VAT) and standard bidding documents (SBD forms such as SBD 4, SBD 9) and related declarations.
