REPAIRS, RENOVATIONS AND ADDITIONS TO ABLUTION FACILITIES AT TOWER PSYCHIATRIC HOSPITAL IN AMATHOLE DISTRICT MUNICIPALITY

Overview

The CDC invites bids for repairs, renovations and additions to ablution facilities at Tower Hospital in Amathole District Municipality. Bidders should be CIDB 6GB+ contractors with active CIDB registration (emerging 5GB PE not eligible), registered with CIDB and CSD; JV/consortia must meet combined grading. The project is a single-phase Design by Employer refurbishment with an approximate 10-month construction duration.

Requirements

• Active CIDB Contractor Grade 6GB or higher; 5GB PE not eligible; CIDB registration valid through bid period; JV/consortia must meet combined grading ( CIDB).
• Proof of CIDB registration or proof of capable registration by bid closing; CDC may verify; if not registered, provide proof of registration application.
• CIDB/CSD: Registration with Central Supplier Database (CSD) and CIDB; ensure registration remains valid during bid and award.
• Compliance with CDC Procurement Policy & Procedures and listed South African legislation (PFMA, PPPFA, CIDB Act, etc.).
• B-BBEE: SANAS-accredited B-BBEE certificate required; JV certificates and individual certificates for members; 40% sub-minimum for Skills Development in certain cases.
• Tax & VAT: Tax compliant; VAT registered; bids to include VAT where applicable; VAT status verified with SARS/CSD.
• Capacity limits: CDC will not award more than two active projects to a bidder unless exceptional completion status is reached.
• Other: POPI consent form; CHSO/CHSM appointment with SACPCMP; proper CWE/Safety plan; attendance at compulsory briefing; no bid by public servants; JV/consortium entries must not be duplicated across bids.
