COMPLETION OF THE CATH LAB AND CSSD AT LIVINGSTONE PE PROVINCIAL HOSPITAL COMPLEX

Overview

Contract for the completion of Cath Lab and CSSD at Livingstone PEPH Hospital Complex, including ICU refurbishment and CSSD renovations, plus sundry external works and related systems. The project requires a CIDB grade 7GB+ (emerging 6GB PE not eligible) with joint ventures allowed if combined grading meets the requirement. Delivered under the CIDB BUIL.D scheme with indirect targeting and skills development. Works occur on an operational PE hospital and run ~17 months; site meeting is planned; bid documents available from 02 Oct 2026; submissions are electronic and due by 16 Nov 2026 10:00.

Requirements

• Active CIDB grading of 7GB+ (6GB PE not eligible for Emerging contractors); JV grading must meet the requirement
• Compliance with CIDB BUIL.D standards, including indirect targeting and skills development
• Proof of COIDA good standing; tax compliance; VAT registration (if applicable); CSD/CIPC registration; POPI consent; SANAS-accredited B-BBEE certificate where required
• Functionality evaluation with a minimum 60-point threshold
• CDC rule restricting more than two active CDC projects per bidder; ongoing performance monitoring
