Overview

Upgrading of the Graaff Reinet Waste Water Treatment Works and appointment of a Community Liaison Officer (CLO) for the construction phase. This Open Tender by Dr Beyers Naude Local Municipality seeks a CLO to be based in Graaff Reinet, with proficiency in two of Afrikaans, English or Xhosa, a Grade 12 (Matric) qualification, and proficiency in Excel and Word, to liaise with the community during the upgrade works. Requirements

• Graaff Reinet resident; known and respected by the community; able to communicate in two of Afrikaans, English or Xhosa.
• Grade 12 (Matric) and proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Availability on site daily 07h00–17h00 and as required.
• Attend meetings representing the community; report on local labour involvement; coordinate with the Main Contractor; keep EPWP sheets up to date; maintain daily records; provide written reports.
