Overview

Provision of courier services to Hessequa Municipality for a twelve-month period. Open tender for professional courier providers to cover specified weight bands and routes (0–2 kg and 2.1–5 kg, multiple South African destinations). Bids are evaluated on the 80/20 system (price 80, BBBEE and locality 10 each). Suppliers must register on the Central Supplier Database and comply with MFMA Circular 25/2005 and Hessequa SCM policy.

Requirements

• Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration and number.
• Tax compliance: SARS Tax Clearance Status Pin/Certificate (TCS) for each party; where applicable for JV/consortium.
• BBBEE: valid BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; claims assessed for locality and BBBEE points.
• Complete and submit all standard bid forms (MBD1, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9) with original signatures; signatory authorization.
• Provide municipal rates/taxes verification for bidder and directors; arrears >3 months may render bid unsuccessful.
• Prices must be VAT inclusive and fixed for 12 months; specify items in the Pricing Schedule and delivery terms.
• Compulsory conditions: comply with GCC/SCC; bid on official forms; no retyping; no unauthorised alterations.
• The Municipality may award to multiple suppliers; quantities may be adjusted.
