Overview

Appointment of a contractor for additions and renovations to CN Lekalake Secondary School in the North West Province, including 13 new buildings, 8 renovations, external works and electrical/mechanical installations. Bidders must have CIDB Grade 8GB or higher (JV allowed), and meet mandatory administrative, compulsory requirements and professional registrations (CIDB, COIDA/FEM, CSD, CIPC, SACPCMP where applicable).

Requirements

• CIDB contractor grading of 8GB or higher (JVs may combine to meet the requirement)
• COIDA/FEM certificate and CIPC registration; JV partners must also comply
• Registered on Central Supplier Database (CSD) with MAAA number; proof required
• Attendance at compulsory site briefing; sign the attendance register
• Fully completed Form of Offer, BOQ fully priced, and signed
• Joint Venture agreement signed by all parties, if applicable
• Proof of active SACPCMP registrations for: Construction Manager (PrCPM/PrCM) and Health & Safety Officer (CHSO/CHSM/CHSA)
• Tax Compliance Status with SARS PIN; verification prior to award; seven working days to supply proof if non-compliant
• SBD 1, SBD 4, and SBD 6.1 (Preference Points) submitted; addenda acknowledged
• Bid validity of 120 days; bid documents and CVs, references, and project evidence as specified
• Returnable documents: T2.1 List and T2.2 Returnable Schedules (as per tender)
