Overview

The procurement is for the supply and delivery of a Fujikura FTB-8054-432LC Fibre Optic Termination Unit (4U, 432 LC/UPC ports) to TelOne Zimbabwe. Bidders should be manufacturers or distributors with proven experience in fiber optic termination units, preferably with Zimbabwean presence and ability to provide Fujikura equipment, references, and post-sale support.

Requirements

• Eligible bidder criteria: legal capacity, not insolvent or in receivership, tax and social security compliance in Zimbabwe, no conflict of interest, not debarred.
• Mandatory documents: current Tax Clearance Certificate, VAT Certificate, CR6 (or CR14) showing directors, Certificate of Incorporation (or equivalent).
• Technical/commercial: must meet the Fujikura specification; provide samples or technical brochures; proof of approved Fujikura manufacturer/distributor in Zimbabwe.
• References: at least three client reference letters for related supplies; traceable reference letters from those clients.
• Financial/contractual: 60-day tender validity; bid security (via Bid Securing Declaration); price schedules in USD; delivery schedule aligned to requirements; 30-day payment terms; 10% performance security; 12-month warranty; liquidated damages of 0.5%/week up to 10% max for delays.
• Origin and compliance: goods from eligible origins; compliance with anti-corruption provisions.
