Overview

Open tender for the Works Contract to complete Ongata Rongai Gataka Roads Phase 2 (Kiserian Town Roads, JNC C58 - Lewisa Kahara, Oloika - Kamura, Ongata Rongai Town Roads). Eligible bidders are road construction/rehabilitation contractors (including Joint Ventures) with appropriate registrations and anti-corruption commitments; a pre-award NCA registration is required before contract signing.

Requirements

• Tender Security: KSh 4,000,000 (as specified in the invitation).
• Eligibility/Compliance: avoid conflicts of interest; comply with anti-corruption requirements; complete Independent Tender Determination; no debarment.
• National Content: foreign bidders must source at least 40% of inputs locally; provide evidence.
• Local registration: National Construction Authority registration is required before contract signing (not a tender prerequisite).
• Tax: valid Kenya Tax Clearance Certificate.
• JV rules: if forming a JV, joint liability, representative, and JV agreement or LOI required.
