Overview

Provision of a borehole with booster pump and water treatment system for Umbonambi Clinic (ZNTU04293W). Bids are invited from organisations with CIDB grading 3CE or higher, with experience in borehole drilling, pump installation, water treatment, and related civil works; including adherence to EPWP/local-labour requirements and community liaison obligations.

Requirements

• CIDB grading 3CE or higher.
• Registration on the Central Suppliers Database (CSD) and provide CSD supplier number.
• Registration/approval with Borehole Water Association of SA (BWA) and Ground Water Association of KwaZulu-Natal (GAKZN).
• Tax compliance: SARS Tax Clearance and Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN; e-Filing eligibility.
• Local labour/EPWP commitments: local labour preference, CLO engagement, and LIC on-site competencies; specific EPWP targets for women, youth and disability.
• Mandatory briefing session attendance and other pre-qualification/eligibility criteria described in the tender documents.
• Contract period of 6 calendar months; compliance with preambles and standards (GCC, SANS 1921-1, etc.).

• Submission method: via the e-Tender Portal; hard copies may be required for collection. If downloaded, provide original Section 1 and a flash drive with the fully completed electronic Bills of Quantities.
• Documents to submit: Section 1 returnable (hard copy) plus supporting documents; flash drive with electronic BOQ; all required CSD, CIDB, and tax documents.
• Pre-qualifications: CIDB 3CE or higher; CSD registration; SARS TCS/Tax clearance.
• Briefing: compulsory briefing on 10 July 2026 at Umbonambi Clinic (15:30).
