Overview

Provision of borehole with booster pump and water treatment system for MVutshini Clinic (ZNTU 04291 W). Bids are invited from contractors with CIDB grading of 3CE or higher, to deliver borehole drilling, pumping, and water treatment works for the Department of Public Works/KZN. Bids may require Borehole Water Association of SA (BWA) and Ground Water Association of KwaZulu-Natal (GAKZN) registration, CSD & SARS compliance, EPWP labour targets, and on-site geohydrological input.

Requirements

• CIDB Grading 3CE or higher; relevant borehole/water works experience.
• Registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and SARS Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN.
• Registration with BWA and GAKZN for borehole works.
• Compliance with EPWP targets (local labour, CLO involvement, LIC where indicated) and related reporting.
• Health and safety plan in line with OHSA; site-specific health, safety and environmental considerations.
• Involvement of a Geohydrological specialist; pricing for borehole testing, development, and water treatment aspects.
• Adherence to GCC for Construction Works 2010 (Second Edition) and tender documentation preambles.
