Overview

Procurement of the Construction of a Guard House – Berlin Plantation. SAFCOL invites capable contractors to bid, specifically those with CIDB 1GB or higher, COIDA good standing, SANAS/B-BBEE evidence, and the ability to meet strict local employment and local content targets for Berlin Plantation (Thaba Chweu area).

Requirements

• CIDB registration: 1GB or higher; COIDA good standing; tax clearance; latest CSD registration; or equivalent mid-process prequalifications.
• Returnable documents: fully completed RFQ, company letterhead quotation, SBD declaration forms, tax clearance, BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, CK documents, company directors’ ID copies, and CSD/MAAA registration.
• Mandatory evaluations: proof of good standing with COIDA; CIDB 1GB+; three similar project references; evidence of financial capacity (recent bank statement or funding proof).
• Specific goals and local requirements: 51%+ Black Owned; 51% Black Youth Owned; 51% Owned by People with Disabilities; 100% local direct employment with 25% women and 25% youth within Thaba Chweu area; local content and reporting obligations.
• Other: prices must be firm and VAT-inclusive; signed SBDs; no pre-delivery of goods before PO/contract; compliance with SAFCOL Supplier Code of Conduct.
