Overview

Construction of a walkway canopy at the Municipal Stores in Swellendam. Bidders must have CIDB contractor grading designation 1GB or higher. Official documents available from 1 October 2026. A compulsory site inspection is scheduled for 12 October 2026 at 10:00 at the Municipal Stores, 23 Lind Street. Submissions must be in a sealed envelope marked with the quotation number and description, and placed in the Municipal Quotation Box by 11:00 on 16 October 2026. The process uses an 80/20 evaluation system under Swellendam Municipality policies; the Council may accept a quotation in full or in part and is not bound to accept the lowest. Requirements

• CIDB grading 1GB or higher
• Attendance at compulsory site inspection
• At least two references for similar projects completed in the last five years
• Submit quotations on prescribed documents in sealed envelope to the Municipal Quotation Box
• Include valid Tax Compliance Status PIN (SARS)
• Quotation valid for 84 days
