Requirements

• CIDB registration: minimum 8 CE; joint ventures must meet lead partner and combined designation rules; proof required.

• Health and safety: detailed Health and Safety Plan per Occupational Health and Safety Act and Construction Regulations 2014; ensure sub-contractors comply.
• Experience: documented relevant civil engineering experience in sewer reticulation/bulk sewer projects; POE (proof of previous projects) required for full points.
• Returnable documents: complete T2.1/T2.2 schedules; Form A18 attendance at site meeting; other certificates as specified.
• Financial/compliance: audited (or unaudited) financial statements for the last 3 years (as applicable); proof of funds; tax/compliance status.
• Local content/EPWP: demonstrate local supplier participation and EPWP compliance; up to 10 points for specific goals.
• Other: proof of good standing with Compensation Fund; no tender defaulters; no canvassing; no late/submitted/incomplete tenders.

How to Apply

• Submission deadline: 14 September 2026 at 12:00. Tender validity: 120 days.
• Submission method: sealed tender in the official Tender Box outside the Main Building, Cole & Graham Streets, Barkly East (hard copies); documents also available for download from etenders.gov.za and www.jgdm.gov.za.
• Briefing/site visit: compulsory briefing on 21 August 2026 at 11:00 at Sterkspruit Water Treatment Works; site visit to be conducted.
