Construction of the Hopewell Access Road Ward 17 in uMzimkhulu Municipality for civil road works; CIDB grading 6CE or higher. Requirements

• CIDB grade 6CE or higher.
• Submit MBD 4, 5, 6.1, 8 & 9; provide proof of Central Suppliers Database (CSD) registration.
• Municipal rates/services certificate or equivalent for all directors/owners/shareholders; for leased offices or residences, provide lease documents.
• If applicable, affidavits for municipal rates where relevant; include marriage certificate if municipal account is under a spouse.
• Certificate of Authority to sign all documents (on company letterhead). Tender documents must be signed by an authorised person.
• 80/20 Preference Point System applies with mandatory functionality threshold; minimum 50% per segment for scoring.
• Detailed bid components to score include bidder experience, site agent and foreman qualifications, construction methodology, plant/equipment ownership or hire, and specific goals (HDP and RDP) scoring.
• Provide evidence of plant/equipment ownership or hire, including signed letters and certifications.

• Submission deadline: 31 July 2026 by 12:00; sealed envelopes in the tender box at 169 Main Street, Umzimkhulu. Late or non-conforming submissions will not be accepted.
• Submission method: physical, sealed submission in the tender box; do not use Telegraph/Telex/e-mail for submission.
• Documents to complete/submit: MBD forms (4,5,6.1,8,9), CSD proof, municipal rates certificates, lease agreements (if applicable), affidavits as required, Certificate of Authority, signed tender documents.
