Overview

This tender seeks to appoint a CIDB 5CE-or-higher contractor to construct internal roads and stormwater management in Ward 7 (Swartdam and Mmotong) Phase IV. Requirements

• Other pre-qualification: proof of municipal rates or approved alternative; audited financial statements if required; proof of bank rating; 10% bid security via bank guarantee or similar.
• Technical/operational: detailed CVs for key personnel; plant/equipment schedule; list of proposed subcontractors; deviations/qualifications (if any) clearly stated.

How to Apply

• Briefing and deadlines:
  • Mandatory clarification briefing: 10 June 2026 at 11:00, Moretele Local Municipality, Municipal Hall, 4065 B, Mathibestad (see attached briefing details).
  • Questions/clarifications: submissions up to three working days before closing; addenda up to five working days before closing.
  • Closing: 12:00 on 10 July 2026; tender opening at 12:00 on the same day.
• Submission method:
  • Submit one signed tender offer in a single outer envelope to the Moretele Local Municipality tender box at 4065 B, Mathibestad 0404; ensure outer envelope is sealed and marked with Tender No MLM/R&S/SWR/P4/26-27.
  • Provide the required number of paper copies and electronic copies as specified in T2.1/T2.2.
• Documents to complete/submit:
  • Form of Offer and Acceptance; MBD4, MBD5, MBD6, MBD8, MBD9; Compulsory Enterprise Questionnaire; CIDB registration; CSD summary; proof of BBBEE; Joint Venture certificates if applicable; attendance certificate from briefing.
  • Returnable schedules and other documents listed in T2.1/T2.2 (e.g., Schedule of Tenderer’s Completed Projects, Plant and Equipment, Key Personnel, Health and Safety declarations, etc.).
  • Bid security: letter of intent from a registered financial institution in the amount of 10% for surety.
