Overview

Construction of the Mantjolo Multipurpose Centre – Mantjolo Tribal Badplaas for SAFCOL. Bidder should be a contractor with CIDB 1GB+ and NEC4 Engineering and Construction Short Contract experience, capable of delivering site works, structural frames, utilities, and finishes, with a focus on local employment and targeted procurement.

Requirements

• CIDB registration: 1GB or higher (active).
• BBBEE: SANAS-accredited certificate or EME/QSE sworn affidavit; JV requires consolidated BEE.
• Tax/compliance: SARS tax clearance; CSD registration (or register within 7 days of award); proof of SARS matters.
• Returnable docs: fully completed RFQ; SBDs; CK documents; CSD/MAAA number; ID copies of directors.
• Financial capacity: bank statement (not older than 1 week) or funding proof from NCR-accredited lender.
• Mandatory completion certificates: attach 3 completion certificates for similar works.
• Local/Targeted: evidence of residence within Chief Albert Luthuli Municipality; ability to meet 51% Black Ownership, 51% Black Youth Ownership, and 51% Owned by People with Disabilities for specific-goals points; local employment and subcontracting requirements.
• NEC4 basis: contract uses NEC4 ECC Short Contract; comply with associated data and procedures (including health, safety, and environment).
