Procurement of construction works for the Nyaka-Makhanya Access Road in Ward 21 (and Lusizini Extension Access Road in Ward 19) under uMzimkhulu Local Municipality. Open to reputable, experienced civil contractors with CIDB 5CE or higher for gravel road works; includes a compulsory briefing on 02/07/2026 and evaluation across experience, personnel, methodology and plant, plus specific goals scoring.

Requirements

• CIDB grading 5CE or Higher.
• Central Suppliers Database (CSD) registration with proof.
• MBD forms: 4, 5, 6.1, 8 & 9.
• Municipal rates/services certificate or statement for all directors/owners/shareholders and the company; confirm no arrears > 90 days.
• Lease documents if office or accommodation is rented.
• Affidavit if account is under a relative; spouse marriage certificate if relevant.
• Certificate of Authority to sign all documents (on company letterhead), signed/dated.
• Tender documents signed by an authorised person.
• 80/20 Preference Points: 20 specific goals (HDP and RDP ownership, local promotion within KZN).
• Required minimum per segment: score not less than 50% (Experience, Site Agent, Foreman, Methodology, Plant).
• Price validity: 90 days.

• Submission method: Sealed tender box submission; late tenders not accepted.
