Overview

The Nkangala District Municipality seeks to construct the Loskop Regional Bulk Water Supply Scheme – Work Package 6C (Eskom MV bulk electrical connection Hare and Mink line sections to Pump Stations 3 & 4) in Thembisile Hani Local Municipality (re-advert). Bidders must be Eskom-accredited, registered on Eskom DT, and hold CIDB grade 7EP or higher, with appropriate CIDB/financial and tax compliance.

Requirements

• Eskom accreditation and registration on Eskom DT Web site; CIDB grade 7EP or higher (or capable to achieve prior to evaluation).
• CIDB: If a joint venture, each party must be CIDB-registered; lead partner must have 7EP or equivalent, and combined grading must meet regulatory thresholds.
• Financial standing: company financial statements for the past three years with adequate turnover (per tender data).
• Tax compliance: SARS PIN/TCS status; if no TCS, provide CSD number; separate TCS/PINs for consortium members.
• Pre-qualification: proof of Eskom accreditation, CIDB, tax compliance, and compensation status; POPI consent.
• Insurance: minimum public liability and works indemnity cover of R10,000,000.
• Returnable documents: compulsory forms (A–H, I, J, K, L, M, N, O, P) and evaluation schedules (Q–W), plus specific project declarations.
• Privacy: POPI consent and related data-processing declarations.
• Other: record of addenda, project personnel, and previous experience documentation.
