Overview

Construction of the new Middelburg Service Office for the Department of Social Development at Middelburg. Eligible bidders must hold CIDB Grade 7GB or higher (or form a joint venture where the lead partner is 6GB and the combined rating meets 7GB+). The 18-month contract includes 20% subcontracting (15% to local SMMEs and 5% to ICDP contractors in Chris Hani District). Requirements

• CIDB eligibility: 7GB or higher; Joint Ventures allowed with lead partner 6GB; JV must meet combined rating criteria.
• Documentation: CIDB certificate, active status; CSD registration; Tax compliance status; POPIA consent; SBD 4 and SBD 6.1 completed; Compulsory Enterprise Questionnaire; Form of Offer and Acceptance; Record of Addenda (if any).
• Technical: JBCC Principal Building Agreement, PBA Edition 6.2 (2018). EPWP requirements; price and specific goals evaluation (80/20).
• Compliance: Security screening prior to award; insurer/Performance Bond to be provided within 21 days of appointment; full price across Bills of Quantities; local content requirements; no blank or misrepresented declarations.
