CONSTRUCTION OF THE RAILTON LINKS COMMUNITY WALKWAY – PHASE 3

Overview

Construction of the Railton Links Community Walkway – Phase 3. Bidders should be civil engineering contractors with a CIDB grading designation of 4CE or higher and relevant experience in similar civil works.

Requirements

• CIDB Contractor Grading Designation 4CE or higher
• Attendance at the compulsory site clarification meeting
• Proof of three (3) completed similar civil engineering projects in the past 10 years
• Submission of a preliminary construction programme
• Submission of a preliminary method statement
• Demonstration of access to required plant, equipment and resources
• Valid Tax Clearance certificate and Tax Compliance PIN (SARS)
• CIDB certificate, B-BBEE certificate, certified copies of directors/owners’ identities, municipal rates and taxes, and all other relevant documents
• Detailed eligibility as per tender document

How to Apply

• Briefing: compulsory site clarification meeting on 16 October 2026 at 11:00 (Town Hall, Swellendam). Note: the tender advert lists 11:00; metadata references 09:00.
• Closing: 30 October 2026, 11:00 (documented in tender advert)
• Submission: sealed envelope clearly marked with tender number and description; placed in the Municipal Tender Box, 11 Lind Street, Swellendam, before closing
• Documents to submit: valid Tax Clearance certificate and Tax Compliance PIN; CIDB certificate; B-BBEE certificate; certified copies of directors/owners’ identities; municipal rates and taxes; all other relevant documents; plus deposit proof
