Overview

Panel of Contractors for road construction inclusive of stormwater in all regions of the City of Johannesburg for a period of three years. Tenders from CIDB 7CE or higher; bidders must be CIDB registered (or prove an application) and comply with City SCM policies; compulsory briefing on 29 October 2026; closing 24 November 2026; submission methods include electronic submission.

Requirements

• CIDB grading of 7CE or higher (or higher; proof of CIDB registration or application).
• CIDB/CSD and tax compliance: CIDB registration, CSD vendor number, tax clearance; COIDA letter; municipal charges where applicable.
• Local content: mandatory local Labour Content and local SMME participation; unskilled labour to be sourced from the local community.
• Compulsory clarification meeting attendance and adherence to PPPFA 2022, GCC 2015, and contract terms.
• Returnable documents and forms submission (e.g., MBD1, MBD2, MBD4, MBD5, MBD6.1, MBD7.2, MBD8, MBD9) plus proof of CIDB, company/consortium resolutions, and Form T2.1/T2.2 returnables. (See attached forms: T2.1–T2.1 I–I, and Forms U in Gravel-25-142 Excel.)

• Attend the compulsory Clarification Meeting: 29 October 2026 at 10:00, JRA Fleet and Plant Depot, 350 Albertina Sisulu Street, Fordsburg.
