CONSTRUCTION TO COMPLETION OF 400 CAPACITY DORMITORY ON THE FIRST FLOOR OF 3-STOREY BUILDING AT KISUMU BOYS HIGH SCHOOL

Overview

Construction to completion of a 400-capacity dormitory on the first floor of a 3-storey building at Kisumu Boys High School. Open to all qualified tenderers, funded by Kisumu Central NG-CDFC.

Requirements

• Eligible tenderers, including JV options; all members liable; no public officers’ involvement; no conflicts of interest.
• Foreign tenderers must source at least 40% of contract inputs from national suppliers (with documentary evidence) or be disqualified.
• National Construction Authority registration and certificate required before contract signature (-registration not a tender condition but needed for award) and tax clearance.
• Tender security: KSh 230,000; form: bank guarantee or insurance-backed; valid beyond tender validity.
• Tender validity: 120 days.
• Required documents: Form of Tender, Bills of Quantities, technical proposal, JV agreements if applicable, authorization to sign, and any other documents per the Tender Data Sheet.
• Pre-tender/site visit not mandatory (though site info available); clarify questions by deadline; FM contact for queries (see documents).

How to Apply

• Obtain tender documents from Kisumu Central NG-CDF (fees: hard copy KSh 1,000; electronic copies free via PPIP and ngcdf.go.ke) (BQ.pdf).
• Questions deadline: October 21–22, 2026 (per Tender Data). Clarifications provided in writing.
• Submit sealed tenders in one original + one copy by: October 27, 2026 at 11:00 AM to the Tender Box at Kisumu Central DCC Sub-County HQ (BQ.pdf). Electronic submission not permitted.
• Include: Tender Security (KSh 230,000), Joint Venture documentation if applicable, Power of Attorney for signatory, complete Form of Tender and Schedules, and confirmation of eligibility/qualifications (BQ.pdf).
