Overview

The SANRAL tender seeks consulting engineering services for the routine road maintenance of National Routes N2 in the Harry Gwala and Ugu District Municipalities. Suitable bidders are consulting engineering firms with highway maintenance experience, project management capability, traffic management and HSE expertise, and the ability to meet SANRAL’s contracting and registration requirements (e.g., CIDB, SACPCMP for OHS, SARS tax status, B-BBEE).

Requirements

• CIDB registration (appropriate grade) and status as a consulting engineering firm.
• Professional registrations for key personnel (e.g., engineers) and SACPCMP registration for OHS roles in accordance with the Form of Acceptance.
• SARS Tax Compliance status and Tax Compliance Declaration.
• Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration and, if applicable, JV documentation.
• B-BBEE Verification certificate and claimed status.
• Insurance evidence and, where required, a Performance Security.
• Appointment of named Key Persons and a designated representative; compliance with the Personnel Schedule.
• Compliance with POPIA/cybersecurity requirements and safeguarding of the Employer’s data.
