Overview

The RBIDZ contracts a service provider to supply, deliver, configure camera systems and upgrade the access control. Open to capable and competent security-systems integrators; B-BBEE Level 1–3 eligible. Evaluation uses 70% minimum functionality, then price and preference on an 80/20 split; documents available 28 July–11 August 2026; a non-refundable tender charge of R500 is required to obtain documents.

Requirements

• Capable and competent service provider for CCTV and access-control solutions.
• Minimum functionality score of 70% to progress to price/preference evaluation.
• Evaluation sequence: compliance, functionality, then price and preference (80/20).
• B-BBEE Level 1–3 eligibility; targeted enterprises may tender.
• Tenders must be sealed and deposited in the official RBIDZ Tender Box by 12:00 on 28 August 2026; late or electronic submissions not accepted.
• Non-refundable R500 tender payment; payment into the specified Absa account; documents emailed after indication of interest and payment; refer to Tender Document.
• RBIDZ reserves the right to accept or reject any Tender and is not obliged to accept the lowest price.

How to Apply

• Obtain tender documents by emailing tenders@rbidz.co.za with company name, address, and contact details; quote tender number and description; provide proof of payment of R500 (see Tender Document).
• Make the R500 payment to Absa, Branch 632005, Account 4072219190; use a reference that identifies the tender.
• Indicate interest to receive the RFP documents; RBIDZ will email the Tender Document after payment (document filename: Tender Document).
• Submit the hard copy by 28 August 2026 at 12:00 in the RBIDZ Tender Box, RBIDZ Complex, 4 Harbour Arterial, Alton, Richards Bay; tenders opened publicly.
• Note: No briefing or site inspection is conducted; no telegraphic, telephonic, telex, or emailed tenders will be accepted.
• Follow the attached conditions in the documents; RBIDZ may appoint the Tenderer that best meets requirements.
