Overview

Appointment of a panel of professional legal services for a period of 36 months to provide legal advisory and related services to Dikgatlong Local Municipality. Bidders should be professional legal service providers or law firms with relevant capacity and qualifications.

Requirements

• 80/20 preferential points system applies.
• Bids must be submitted on municipal bid documentation only; no telephonic, facsimile, email submissions; late bids will not be accepted.
• Document fee: R550 (non-refundable) for each document.
• Tender documents available at Dikgatlong Local Municipality Offices, 33 Campbell Street, Barkly West, from 15 May 2026 to 25 June 2026, during 08:00–15:00.
• Submit sealed envelope clearly marked with project description and tender number; deposit in Tender Box at main reception, 33 Campbell Street, Barkly West, 8375, no later than 26 June 2026 at 12:00 (tenders).
• Bids valid for 90 days after closing date.
• Proof of payment of municipal services bearing the tenderer’s entity name, not older than 3 months and not in arrears for more than 3 months.
• Dikgatlong reserves the right not to accept the lowest bid or to award based on criteria; there will be no briefing session.

How to Apply

• Tender documents available for purchase at the municipality during 08:00–15:00, 15 May 2026 to 25 June 2026; non-refundable document fee of R550.
• Complete and return tender documents in a sealed envelope, clearly marked with project description and tender number; place in Tender Box at main reception, Dikgatlong Local Municipality, Campbell Street, Barkly West, 8375, by 12:00 on 26 June 2026 (tenders).
• Submissions must be in hard copy; no email/fax submissions accepted.
• Bids must be valid for 90 days after closing date; bids published on municipality website.
• Include municipal account as proof of payment.
