Overview

Creation of a Sewer High-Pressure Jetting Framework Contractor Panel for the eThekwini Sanitation Operations Department for 36 months, to be engaged as required. This is a public-sector construction tender to establish a rotating panel of qualified Sewer High-Pressure jetting contractors (as per Allocation Committee decisions) for the Sanitation Operations Department.

• Eligible bidders: CIDB grade 1 CE or higher (CE or higher).

Requirements

• CIDB: 1 or higher CE (or higher).
• Experience: five (5) completed contracts or order/fault numbers in the last ten years ( amended “minimum number of completed contracts”).
• Evidence: signed reference letters and/or completion certificates for the five contracts; where available, include contract values.
• Registrations: valid on National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD), eThekwini Supplier Portal, and access to the eThekwini JDE System (ESP).
• Certifications/Status: valid Tax Compliance PINs, CIDB status, and BBEE status where applicable; verifications via CSD.
• Municipal: no undisputed municipal arrears; declare municipal fees.
• Tender validity: offers remain valid for twelve (12) months.
• Vehicle/Equipment: comply with Annexure B; limit on vehicle sharing (no more than three bidders per vehicle arrangement).
• Addenda: review Addenda 1–3 for scope, experience, and fleet rules.
• Returnable docs: as per tender schedules (e.g., MBD forms, Schedule of Previous Experience, JV requirements if any).
